Setsuna and Kira from Angel Sanctuary, shonen ai, light yaoi. I was trying not to let Setsuna look too girly, but it ended making him look less like he does in the anime. I like how Kira turned out, though. ^.^
It's an acronym for some Japanese words I don't have memorized, basically it means two guys. You can pronounce it "yu-oh-ee" or "yowee" (proper Japanese would have it "yah-oi" but the fangirls at Yaoi-con - an anime convention - pronounce it "yowee", so go figure). Another term you might want to know is shonen ai - that also means two guys. The difference is yaoi is usually more explicit (anything from groping to sex) and shonen ai can just mean romantic love between to males (including platonic love between best friends). ^.~
I'm glad you like it. ^_^ This anime doesn't have much of a yaoi fandom, so I've never actually seen any fanart for this couple (or any non-canon couple). I think I'd like to do a pic of my favorite pairing from this anime - Katan and Kira (Kira is the dark-brown haired guy in this pic, but Katan is a yummy silver-white haired angel). They'd look just edible together.
Wow! *sigh* I know what's coming next *raises hand to nose* Yep, nosebleed. I agree with I would love it even more if I knew the characters. I think I may check out the anime/manga
^___^ I'm glad you like it, especially if you don't know the characters (though...it might be better if you don't know them - that way it's all left to the imagination and the picture). The anime isn't finished - they put out one dvd and then stopped so it's more like an ova, and these guys aren't a couple (the blonde is actually in an incestual het relationship - these guys are just 'best friends' according to canon). But it's worth watching for the bishonen factor - and there's a real yaoi couple in the anime, two of the 'angel' characters. The animation is beautiful, too.
Oh. I really do wanna check it out, but it's on the bottom of my list of too many animes/mangas that I need to check out/get my hands on. I'll get to it eventually...or not Depends on my schedule, and if I remember what it's called.
